Multiple Image Composite for Kiddicare
We created this multiple image composite for Kiddicare, using the images below. Originally, we used six images to create a piece measuring 2m x 11.5m. To join the various images together smoothly, we removed the repeating pattern in the grey fabric. We extended the sheets to create a longer image, thereby giving the children more room to play. From other shots, we added extra feathers and other small details. Throughout, we adjusted skin tones, cleaned and colour-corrected the images and swatch-matched the clothing.
We knew that the harsh indoor lighting in the store would affect the posters, so we paid special attention to this in the digital production process. In fact, returning the over-exposed areas and boosting the highlights, gave these panels a great look.
Bill Greenwood Ltd worked on all post-production/pre-press and created print-ready profiled artwork for the printer. Due to the detailed digital process, the printer was able to issue one final, flame-retardent, wrapped panel, measuring 2.5m x 11m long.
